The Playhouse Build program is a testament to the strength of community partnerships. It brings together passionate volunteers and generous sponsors to design and construct custom playhouses for families in need. These aren't just structures; they're gateways to childhood wonder, spaces where young minds can explore, create, and grow. 

The joy of this project is amplified by its connection with the El Camino Homeless Organization(ECHO). The playhouse we've helped create will benefit multiple families transitioning into permanent housing through ECHO. We're honored to play a part in providing these families with a special place for their children to dream, play, and feel at home. 

Colleen Stefanek, Habitat SLO's Volunteer and Marketing Coordinator, emphasized the importance of community involvement in this initiative. She encouraged our neighbors to nominate deserving families, saying, "If you know of a family whose children would benefit from a fun place to play, we encourage you to nominate them. This year-round opportunity helps us ensure that deserving families receive these wonderful playhouses."
