American Riviera Bank Opens Full-Service Branch in Downtown San Luis Obispo
The new branch offers personal and business accounts, as well as business, commercial, real estate, agricultural, residential mortgage, construction and Small Business Administration (“SBA”) loans.
President and CEO, Jeff DeVine said, “SLO is the perfect spot for us. It’s such a special town, with its own special feel. The blend of Cal-Poly, local businesses and agriculture, plus the city’s unique location and footprint, it’s a one-of-a-kind community. Now it has its own true community bank.”
“We’re focused on bringing back true community banking to the region,” said Joanne Funari, Executive Vice President and COO of American Riviera Bank. “Following the success of the branch we opened in Paso Robles last year, that has become Paso’s fastest growing bank, we wanted to offer the same community banking experience in San Luis Obispo.
American Riviera Bank, once again, hired a seasoned local team to lead the new branch. The core management will consist of Jay Beck, SVP/Regional Commercial Banking Manager; Stephanie Marden, Vice President/Commercial Banking Officer, Gary Tanner, Vice President/Portfolio Manager, and Stephanie Levi, Branch Service Manager. All are long-time San Luis Obispo bankers and residents.
