Rene Beebe
Rene Beebe, Vice President, SBA Manager, started in banking in 1999 as a teller. She worked in a variety of positions in retail operations before moving into business lending in 2004. Within four years, she had moved into the Small Business Administration (SBA) where she realized quickly that helping small business owners to operate and grow was her passion. In 2017, Rene earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a focus in accounting. The education Rene received pushed her out of her comfort zone and gave her confidence to grow rapidly in SBA Lending.
Beyond her professional role, Rene's true passion lies in making a meaningful difference in her community. As the treasurer on the board of directors for Hospice SLO County, she brings both financial acumen and personal dedication to this vital organization.
Hospice is often a topic that makes many uncomfortable, but Rene's perspective was forever changed after experiencing the loss of a close family member at a young age. This personal journey led her to recognize the critical importance of grief support counseling and end-of-life care. Hospice SLO County, a non-medical volunteer service organization and community grief center, holds a special place in Rene's heart. Their mission resonates deeply with her belief that the end of life deserves as much respect and dignity as its beginning.
Rene's commitment to community service extends beyond her current role. She previously volunteered as a Big Sister with Big Brothers/Big Sisters for four years, making a lasting impact on young lives. Additionally, her time on the board of Soroptimist SLO County allowed her to support women and young adults, providing them with resources to achieve their goals and dreams.
In her personal time, Rene fully embraces the beauty of the Central Coast. She remains grateful for the privilege of calling this stunning region home, finding joy in its natural wonders and vibrant community spirit.
