Alex Torres
Alex Torres, Assistant Vice President, Credit Assistant Supervisor, began his community banking career in 2003 and joined American Riviera Bank’s lending department in 2019. Early on he realized how motivating and rewarding the loan servicing world can be. With over 10 years of experience in loan servicing, Alex comprehends and applies loan policy, and regulatory compliance. Alex is willing to learn and he is flexible regarding updates to procedures. His characteristics enable him to maintain his team engaged. Alex is a class of 2020 American Riviera Bank Emerging Leader, a Bank sponsored leadership development program that gave him the necessary tools to lead by example in order for his team as a whole to consistently deliver quality work.
When he is away from his desk, Alex enjoys working with local non-profits to encourage and teach financial literacy. Alex is passionate about teaching others (children, young adults, and elders) the importance of worthwhile saving habits, budgeting, and understanding consumer credit. When Alex isn’t working or supporting volunteer efforts, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. His hobbies include concerts, wineries, and the movies.
